"When I talk to my phone friend volunteer, every day right after our conversation I feel alive and vibrant. It is like I am no longer ill and the pain, well… I don’t notice it as much. I am faced with a bone cancer that is in the third stage. My delightful volunteer gives me something uplifting to look forward to, and she has added a very bright spot in my life.
